This journal is a way for me to keep track of my music and how much I like it. It will be edited often and I'm still going through my old albums and adding and grading them.
The grades for this journal are not given on a strictly critical opinion. I am also factoring in my personal preferences and how I relate with the music. That is why you'll see artistically inferior artists with higher grades than musical geniuses in some cases. I do give major points for the artistic and experimental nature of the music, but I combine those with the things mentioned before.
The grades for these albums may change as I gain or lose appreciation for it, or as I become more familiar with it.
The titles highlighted in blue are A+ pieces that I recommend everyone at least give a chance. This is music that has impacted me in a MAJOR way.
The titles highlighted in red are D and F graded pieces. If you like the music highlighted in red I highly recommend you learn more about music and the art form that it should be. If I give an album a D or F it will not be because I simply don't like it. It will be because it is an absolute disgrace to the art-form of music.
